Inspirational photography stuff. |
Growing up I had friends who owned horses, I was fascinated by them. I even learnt to draw them (the only thing I have ever been able to draw) but confess I’ve never ridden one.
Just one of the many things I love about photography. The ability of myself and other image makers to show the world around us in varying degrees of detail.
There is so much repitition in this photo, the blues, the oranges the headlights. I really like it. I think the photographer (or editor) has removed something in the top left hand corner, it seems a little too black.
The shallow depth of field and the colour red adds to the ominous feeling that so many associate with the number 13. I hear (but can’t confirm) that many of the big hotels in the United States don’t even have a floor 13. The space where it would be is either a void or used more storage, so strong is the human psyche with it comes to superstitions.
This is just a great object shot.
